| Designers: SOPHIE STERUD, NATALIE SUE-CHU & VICTORIA SØDERLINDH Congratulations to the winning proposal! Project to be realized and built in 2011. '..The idea behind this project is to exploit the beautiful surroundings of the place. The different parts of the sauna experience are therefore placed in different units; to make people walk between them and see the surroundings. The changing rooms are placed more hidden among the trees, whilst the actual sauna is placed in the area where the forest is opening up to the lake, and there is a window facing the impressive nature around. This window can be opened or closed, depending of what kind of sauna experience you desire. Walking along the walkway you can either take your time to raise the expectations of the sauna experience, or run along to get into the sauna as fast as possible. The walkway gives different experiences depending on the seasons and is an integrated part of the surroundings. The walkway either goes around the trees or has an opening where the trees can pass through, this in order to not have to remove any trees at all..'
