This early nineteenth century house is located in the village of Précy-sous-Thil, Cote d'or, in the region of Bourgogne, France. Anna Bonde, textile and furniture designer, was influenced both by her native Sweden and the Provencal style when she furnished her home.
In the reading nook Anna created, a portrait of her grandmother as a child hangs above an eighteenth century bench.
An outbuilding that used to be the servants' quarters was renovated. Now, Anna's children and grandchildren stay here when they come to visit. In this room there are two in built beds on each side of the room.
Butterflies and shells, surrounding a sculpture by Arne Tengblad.
An embroidered fabric by Michel Bienh, called the Jardin des Princes hangs above a rustic table.

Provencal Style House
Good morning to you my friends!
This house, somewhere on the coast of Spain, was restored and then decorated using provencal style furniture. To add warmth, most of the doors and window frames were painted an aquamarine green and different textures and fabrics were used throughout the house.
It's tour time, my friends!
The living room and dining room are in the same space. Both areas are defined with large rugs. Even though their patterns are different they harmonize perfectly because they share the same colours.
The usually forgotten space behind the door in the kitchen was put to use with shelves. The radiator also has a shelf and is concealed. A Norman Rockwell print hangs on the door.
This bathroom somehow reminds me of a forest. As if the trumeaus were the trunks of the trees and the wallpaper the branches and leaves.

Gustavian Style Bastide
This 17th century bastide is located in a vast vineyard, a few kilometers from the medieval village of Trets, facing the Mont Sainte-Victoire, in the south of France. The mountain is famous for its many appearances in the paintings of Paul Cézanne, who could see it from near his house. The main part was built in 1601. Interior designer Nathalie Vingot-Mei was appointed to renovate its rooms. In her words: "We kept all the original features that made its beauty, old floor tiles and marble floors from the quarry area, exposed beams, fireplaces, moldings ... Only the rooms on the top floor were transformed into guest bedrooms, and we added three additional bathrooms.
I featured Nathalie's beautiful work some time ago. If you'd like to see the post just go here.
Hope you enjoyed today's tour. See you tomorrow and have a happy weekend!

Provencal Framhouse
This typical Provencal stone farmhouse is located in Aigaliers, a village in the Gard, near Uzès, in the south of France. You might think it's been standing here for centuries but it is actually a new construction. Decorated with antiques and vintage pieces, its spaces take you back in time.
A stone staircase outside leads to a guest room.
This small terrace is right outside a guest room and at the top of the stone stairs we saw in the previous picture.
A warm dining room with a massive step-in fireplace with room enough for the fire and a chair. Indian cotton tablecloth.
Satin pillows on a wrought iron bed by the fireplace in the large living room.
The bathroom, entirely done by Richard Goullet, opens to the left on a wall with rounded lines behind which hides a spacious shower. Terra cotta tiles. The full length curtain brushing the floor adds drama though I think they are not such a good idea in a bathroom!
